EarthBound and Cake
One day(last year) I was playing Earthbound and listening to Cake. Cake is a band, in case you didn't know. Anyway, on their CD Fashion Nugget, there is a weird song called Frank Sinatra. The words sound like they were choreographed to Earthbound. Here are the (spooky) similarities:
*first line of song: we know of an ancient radiation that haunts dismembered constellations
*similarity: Giygas' meteor falls from space because of turmoil in the skies. Giygas was also attacking from long in the past.
*line: .......... flies and spiders get along together.........
*meaning: animals quit fighting among themselves to attack Ness
*line:...... cobwebs grow on an old skipping record......
*meaning: not much of a meaning, but it sounds like the Suporma to me......
line:......beyond your latest ad campaign.........
*meaning: Mayor Pirkle tells you to vote for him. That means he's campaigning!!!
*line:...he saves what others throw away.....
*meaning: Ness and friends get a lot of weird crap that seems like garbage. Some of it is garbage......
*line:..... he says that he'll be rich some day.........
*meaning: at the end of the game, you have LOTS of money....... if you spend it right...
OK!! There were a few more, but they were mostly opinion. I just remembered this, so that's why it took so long to put it out. Later!!!!!!
